Vitipro gel increases the sensitivity of the skin to the sun due to the concentration of psoralens.

• When combining Vitipro gel and sun exceeding 10 minutes skin can burn 
• Significantly shortens the irradiation time during UVB phototherapy. After using Vitipro gel, it is necessary to cut the irradiation time in half.

Instructions of use

Can be applied on vitiligo only before going to bed. Use a cream with a protective factor during sunny days.

Dont combine Vitipro gel with Sun.

VITIPRO gel is used typically with light. During the day we either irradiate with a UVB lamp or sunbathe. The difference with Vitistop gel is that Vitipro gel is applied only before going to bed. Light (UVB lamp or sun) is always necessary in case we want repigment our vitiligo.

Sample (Vitipro gel and UVB lamp)

Before going to bed, apply a thin layer of Vitipro gel to the vitiligo. The next day, we irradiate with a UVB lamp exactly according to the instructions. Apply Vitipro gel every night before going to bed. We irradiate with the lamp 3 times a week and after 3 months only 2 times a week. The irradiation time is individual, but we need to achieve a subtle redness of vitiligo that persists even during the next day. If the vitiligo is not reddened after irradiation, the irradiation time should be increased by another 20 seconds.

Our advice:

If we want to maximize the effect of the treatment, we will also use Vitistop gel, which need to be applied 30 minutes before UVB lamp irradiation.

Sample (Vitipro gel and SUN)

Before going to bed, apply a thin layer of Vitipro gel to the vitiligo. The next day we expose the vitiligo to sunlight for 5 minutes. If the vitiligo is not reddened the next day, we increase the stay in the sun by another 5 minutes.

The expected result is a subtle vitiligo redness that may persist the next day.

The exact time in the sun cannot be determined, as the sun has different intensity throughout the year and each of us has a different skin sensitivity to sunlight.

If we want to stay in the sun longer, we should use a cream with a protection factor of SPF 30 and more!

Composition

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) eliminates free radicals and restores antioxidant balance.

Babchi oil (Psoralea seed oil) as the main component of Vitistop gel, stimulates melanocytes to synthesize melanin - a pigmentary agent.

Copper and zinc stimulate tyrosinase - the enzyme that causes excessive pigmentation.

Vitamin B5 and B12 aid in the synthesis of melanin.

Calcium Panthothenicum important for melanin synthesis as well as copper absorption.
